    Wedding Sounds are about giving our happy couples the night they dream of. We DO NOT play OUR music, we play YOUR MUSIC... We brings years of experience and creativity to every show we do.     How it all began.
    Starting his career as a Wedding Entertainer 20 years Ago, Wedding Sounds manager, Jay Allen, is one of the most respected and requested wedding DJ & MCs in Victoria. Jay's hand picked and personally trained team of DJ's and MCs have continued his high standard of performance and customer service.

    Frequently Asked Questions
    Do you perform at same sex weddings? 
    Yes.. Wedding Sounds is a supporter of Marriage Equality. We are overjoyed that ALL Australians are now able to celebrate this amazing life event, and have their loved recognised by law..

    How long do your DJs play for? 
    We like to call it ‘reasonable length of the event’. That’s means it doesn't matter if you reception is 3 hours or 6 hours, we will play for the entire event. No overtime rate, no extra costs.

    Do you supply dance floor lights? Or is it an extra cost? 
    All our DJ packages feature standard party lights and the speaker stand covers and facades. We do have special lighting effects that can be added, along with Fog, Smoke and Bubble effects.

    Do you pay for referrals or reviews? 
    NO.. We are members of the Ethical Wedding Professionals. If some has told you about us, it's because they want to, we do not pay or reward anyone for recommending us... (we do send them lots of love and hugs).

    Do your DJs drink during their show?
    NO… Wedding Sounds has a VERY strict No Alcohol and Drugs policy. With the one exception of a glass of Champaign for toasting.

    What do your DJs wear? 
    All our DJs wear suits during their performance..

    Can we pick the music we want played? 
    Yes. We meet with you, to discuss every aspect of your special day, and find out what you want to hear and what songs are needed for the ‘special moments’.

    Can guests request songs? 
    Yes.

    Can we give you songs we want played? 
    Yes., A USB Stick is the preferred way

    Can we plug our iPhone into your speakers? 
    It can be done on some of our DJs consoles, but we don't recommend it.

    Can you do multicultural weddings? 
    Yes, we have been performing at them for years

    How long prior to reception does the DJ arrive? 
    Our entertainers usually arrive at least two hours prior to the guests arrival.

    Is your equipment ‘Tested and Tagged’? 
    Yes.
